Interview with Alyssa Galarza

Introduction 

Singer/songwriter/community leader/ entrepreneur Alyssa is an upcoming artist from Atlanta Georgia who’s ready to take the music industry by surprise. Alyssa is also a renowned piano, guitar, and vocal talent. Outside of music Alyssa is also known as a firm environmental and animal activist, she wants to speak for what cannot speak for itself. As a female artist Alyssa has a lot to offer she is an amazing person whos style is just what the industry needs to spice things up!

INTERVIEW 

Alyssa took the time out to answer a few questions and Keep it 100 with us, this is what she had to say:

Kim J: Alyssa tell us a little more about your self?

Alyssa G:  I’m just a girl. A girl that loves music and wants to share it with the world. I’m vegetarian. Very active. I love family time and sharing moments with the ones I love. I love to help others and try to open up others eyes to things that many are blind too. That being said, I’m an activist for pretty much anything I find myself interested in or concerned about. I love to rollerblade, I play xbox, ps3, I mountain climb, I like basketball, and cooking. I just LOVE life!

Kim J: What would you say makes you different and unique from others already in the music industry?

Alyssa G:  Wow, good question…. Tough question actually, because many are SO talented and I guess you could say we all, striving, independent or signed, just feel that we all want and feel some entitlement to be able to share our gift with everyone even if another artist may be similar or just as great. Each person has their own special thing. I think I’m very diverse with my sound. What my own special thing is? I would like to leave to the opinion of others. I love feedback so hopefully listeners and viewers can put me on to what they think.

Yes, it's true Willow Smith (daughter of Will and Jada Smith) hot new single is rising to the top. It's also the new hit club banger that drives the crowd crazy! I can't believe how this nine year old superstar is quickly climbing the charts! Jay-z recognizes talent from a mile away, thats why he signed Willow Smith to his Roc the Nation Label! You go girl!

Okay, so I am definitely feeling the song. I must say the video is pretty HOT as well. Oh and Nicki's Co-Star in the video is Georgous! The only thing I am unsure about is the "acting" in the beginning of the video???? I love Nicki but she is not that great of an actor. Just Keeping it 100!...

Alicia Keys gives birth to a baby boy

Kaseem Dean AKA Swizz Beats, 32 and Alicia Keys, 29 Welcomed their first child together in to the world on October 14, 2010. Alicia Keys gave birth to a baby boy in New York, and named him Egypt Daoud Dean. This makes Alicia's first child and Swizz Beats third child. 


Thats is some name! Just Keeping it 100! I wish them both the best. 

Monica is Engaged to Laker's Guard Shannon Brown!

R&B Sensation Monica is getting married to NBA Lakers Guard Shannon Brown! The two met during the taping of the video "Love all over me," where Shannon was immediately taken over by Monica. Shortly after the video was released the two began to appear in the media "together." There you can see Monica showing off her 10 Karat Diamond Ring!

Rapper TI Probation Gets REVOKED

As we all know last month TI was busted on a Felony Possession of CDS while on probation. Today 10/15/2010, TI's probation was revoked by a federal Judge and he was sentenced to 11moths in prison TI told the judge he needed help for a drug addiction and begged not to be sent back to prison, but was sentence to 11 months, he has two weeks to turn himself in. 


Damn TI, this is some shit! Why would you put yourself in this type of situation while on probation? You've been home for a hot minute and now your heading back! Damn I guess we will be saying FAREWELL to TI again in two week! Just Keeping it 100!

Another Student Suicide Blamed on Cyberbullying

Okay lets change things up for a moment. I know Keeping it 100 primarily focuses on celebrity gossip, interviews and fashion. In a minute you will see where the celebrity aspect ties into this story. 

A Rutgers University freshman posted a goodbye message on his Facebook page before jumping to his death after his roommate secretly filmed him during a "sexual encounter" in his dorm room and posted it live on the Internet.

Items belonging to 18-year-old Rutgers student Tyler Clementi were found by the George Washington Bridge last week, according to authorities. Clementi's freshman ID card and driver's license were in the wallet.

Clementi's post on his Facebook page, dated Sept. 22 at 8:42 p.m. read, "Jumping off the gw bridge sorry."

Clementi's body has not been recovered, but police have pulled an unidentified male body from the Hudson River just north of the bridge.

Paul Mainardi, the attorney representing the Clementi family, released a statement confirming Clementi's suicide.

"Tyler was a fine young man, and a distinguished musician. The family is heartbroken beyond words. They respectfully request that they be given time to grieve their great loss and that their privacy at this painful time be respected by all," Mainardi said.

Two students, Dharun Ravi and Molly Wei, have been charged with two counts each of invasion of privacy after allegedly placing a camera in Clementi's room and livestreaming the recording online on Sept. 19, according to a written statement by New Jersey's Middlesex County Prosecutor Bruce Kaplan.

Recently Ciara and Lala sent out a video message on youtube informing gay youth that "It Will Get Better" Their video was inspired after hearing about a campaign that was started by Dan Savage and his husband after hearing a story about Billy S., a gay Indiana teenager who committed suicide after being taunted by his classmates. Check out their video by clicking on the box below their picture. I think it is great when celebrities take a stand for issues that impact the world. Do you know how many "gay or lesbian youths" will be inspired not to give up because they have the support of people like Lala and Ciara. It may even change the motive of those people who target "gay's and lesbian's." I thought this story was worth sharing Just Keeping It 100! 

Where the hell is Beyonce???

Have you been wondering where has the super star Beyonce disappeared to? Well apparently we found her, in West Orange dancing in the street at a block party with some of Jay-Z's family. Hopefully she will be back in the spotlight sooner than later! I love "B" but why does her hair always look a hot mess??? Just Keeping it 100!

Guess who is dating who?

That's right Chelsea Handler and rapper 50 cent are now an item! Who would have ever thought? Supposedly 50 cent left Chelsea a voicemail asking her out, he also took it upon himself to have flowers delivered to her set. How sweet, maybe not? "Everyone knows I am trying to go black Hard" is what Chelsea told her guest referring to her new boo 50 cent... "Really 50? Out of all the women in the world Chelsea Handler? WTF!!! I'm not feeling it, I wonder how long this will last." Just Keeping it 100!
